Hi Guys,
As you all know we are hoping to get a server up and running for CoD2 now that we all have the game. Most of us have played already online and so know how good the gameplay is.
The beauty also of CoD2 is the amount of custom maps that get released on a weekly basis. Some though aren't up to much, whereas, others are superb.
So, on a monthly basis (just like the other games we play) I thought it would be nice to keep people up-to-date on some classic maps they may have not noticed. Because there is usually so many to look at and review I thought it be better to do only a top 3.
In third place this month is...
Sconseville 9.5/10

Lovely large town map that you really do get lost in...it really is that big. But it runs lovely and looks great.
In second place is...
Carentan Ville 9.5/10

Think of the normal Carentan and then think of it being bigger and you'll get an idea of what this map is all about. But it is also different to the original in many ways, which adds a lovely element of newness to it. Another great map here guys,
And finally - in FIRST spot (the map of the month)
Warsaw,Poland 10/10

This map won an award recently for a map competition so you have some idea how good this will be. When I first loaded it up I would have believed anyone if they had said it is a stock map because the quality is superb. Similar in fashion to Moscow and Leningrad stock maps in looks, this really needs to be on any serious server's map rotation
Other great maps that didn't quite make it this month, but are still nice in their own right and need checking out are....
Rat Room v3 7/10

Not as good as some RATS maps we've played in the past on CoDUO, but still...perhaps the best so far for CoD2.
The Complex (from lesbianemily) 7.5/10

Based on the Goldeneye map bearing the same name LesbianEmily has created a map we'll all know our way around (from days long past on the N64). Great idea and one that is fun too..:-)
Hopefully we'll crack how to make a CoD2 server soon so we'll be able to play on these very soon,
