Hi Guys,
Most of you know that we've been experiencing a few server problems lately. I wont go into details, but in a nutshell something is causing the server to close down. It is hard to locate because it doesn't happen straight away, but after a few maps, and rounds on TOW have been played. I'm looking into what could be the cause, but for now haven't pinned it down to anything dodgy looking. It will be something small which I've overlooked I promise.
For the meantime, I'll run the server without the mappacks (even the one's we know that work okay) and drop some mods from the maps and see how stable it is.
I'll keep everyone updated as to what may be the cause, and in the meantime get the server up again next week as normal.

Hi guys, Looked into what may be causing the server crash overflow problem and it appears as if there is 2 main reasons. The first is the fact that the MoH engine can only deal with so many entities. If you don't know what they are, it is all the things in the game, from say boxes to players. With the max entities exceeded the game then crashes and the server goes down. The answer to that is to remove some of our mods (tanks, boxes & planes etc) until the game is stable again. Not pleased about that, seeing as I've spent hours working on some of them. But if it means the game runs better then so be it. The other reason is something to do with sound issues. MoHSH can only handle 512 sounds at one time. For example on Druckkammern, the U-boat level, all the sounds being played in ToW mode push the game to the max sounds. So adding our own, such as the mustard gas sound, and other things, causes the game to go over 512 sounds. Weird I know, but sadly that is how it works. So we'll have to chop down the sounds as well in order to keep the game stable. I'll give everyone a update as to how things progress and hopefully have the server back up next week and 100% stable.. -Bobbie-

Sounds pretty silly to me, what if it's on that map an everyone fires all different guns at same time, grenades, smoke grenades etc it'll just crash then. (while doing the objectives ofc)
