Hi,
Thought I'd update the news section again after a very long absence from these forums.
We are still playing Spearhead despite not always getting around to coming on here. Besides MoHSH, we've also been busy playing other games on-line, such as Bf1942, CoDUO and SoF2, amongst others.
The BIG news this month is that finally we can run our own server at long last. Everyone knows that for whatever reason we've never been able to see it on the main server list, despite being able to do it for every other game. Now that we have a new modem installed it seems to work fine and can be seen on the main server list and other people can now join. Yippee!!
We've waited 2yrs more or less to do this and now finally we can.
So, now that that is sorted, all we have to do is get all our mods to work properly and look good.
Besides the mods, we also need to look at what custom maps are popular at the mo. Some like StLo and St Renan have always been favourites on many servers, so these two should be okay in rotation. Other great maps would have to be RockBound and Bombed Village. If you can think of any others you'd like to see running then just let me know.
There will also be a new mappack out shortly - in say two to three weeks time. Not 100% clear as to what will be included in it as yet, so I'll post further news later,
