Running the Burton - Derby route and just sharing my findings with you.
Built around the Burton and Derby area and set in the 1950s. The route by Don Hinton uses UKFinescale track and is available on a community CD from UKtrainsim.
BD2_Mansfield-Ripley-Derby (passenger activity from Pye Bridge to Derby
Train: Fowler 4PT 42322 Season Summer Weather Clear Difficulty Level Easy Duration 0:45 approx
Having just completed this activity i can say that it runs very well, as does 42322 (nice engine to drive). There's plenty of AI trains along the route and they do hold you up from time to time. One for 6 mins or so and it stopped me at a red light - which them made me late. Because it's a passenger activity there's quite a few stations you will have to stop at. Pye, Butterley, Ripley, Denby, Kilburn, Coxbench, Little Eaton, Derby Nottingham road and finally finish at Derby Midland station. Overall I was 7mins and 33 seconds late - but I did have a red light for ages, so that is mainly why i suppose. Good activity with good fps and loads of AI. (04/07/11)

Just re-did this level after nearly a year and it ran really well. Good FPS and hardly any slow-down on the level or from the A.I. (10/06/12)

BCD2_3F_Derby-Whatstandwell_Local Pass (passenger activity)
Train: exMR 3F 43278 Season Summer Weather Clear Difficulty Level Easy Duration 0:50 approx
1st attempt : Could not couple up the train to the carriages. Had to quit the activity. Looked on the forums for a solution and read there may be a problem with the bounding boxes. Plus, there was a wagon upgrade to install. (04/07/11)
2nd attempt : With the wagon update installed I retried. The carriages I had to couple-up to before had changed? The sim placed me on the wrong track twice. So I coupled up the wrong carriages and set off. The coupling broke after 5 mins or so. Had to abort the activity again. (05/07/11)
3rd attempt : Swapped the loco in the activity for another and managed to couple up successfully. Went through a red light and failed. 06/07/11
4th attempt: With the loco now working we set off. Things went well until I was stuck at a red light for over 10 mins. Aborted activity. 07/07/11

Train: 70000 Britannia Season Summer Weather Clear Difficulty Level Easy Duration 0:52 approx
1st attempt : level froze after 15 mins or so. I hadn't saved it either. (05/07/11)
2nd, 3rd and 4th attempt - Hmm, keeps crashing in the same place.
5th attempt. Crashed, and I forgot to save it. (07/08/11)
