Rifle Battles on LAN 2

Hi Guys,

Looking into a brand new Rifles Only battle very soon on LAN.

Here are the rules. 10 kills wins the round. Rifles only...but that includes, Snipers (all) Grenades, Mustard Gas, Mines (hidden), MG42's (static and portable) and Pistols (including silenced).

The server will run BT so as to include all the new weapons.

These are the maps we will run.

Bombed Village
Russia
Snowy Village SE
Tomb
Weihnachtsmarkt
Tranquility
Rockbound
Harbor
BA_Stalingrad
Morocco

If you're not sure you have them all then ask before joining the server, otherwise you will be removed from the game.

In the event of a tie-breaker a random STOCK map will then be selected from the lowest scoring player over the competition. This will continue until we have a winner.

SS and scores will be posted as soon as we have the results in.

Hi Guys,

The rifle only competition has started well. (27/10/09)

It was a nice win for Phyllis - she won on most of the maps and came second on the ones she lost on.

Peter did really well winning on the remainder.

Well done to Phyllis though for winning her first LAN match.

One point we need to make clear is that Dorf replaced Morocco on the original map list. Sorry for that mistake.

Both maps will be put in again at a later competition.

The next one will be soon. Hopefully we'll be able to include a few home-made maps if we can get them running smoothly.

Cant wait for the next competition some really good map choices there especially St Lo & St Renan both my favorite maps.

The next Rifles-Only Lan battle will be soon. I'll not have time to convert the objective maps over to FFA (just too many good obj maps). But I'll do what I can. We still have plenty of good DM maps to run if we don't have the time on the conversions.
