Hey Guys, Firstly, IL-2 has just received a new patch (4.09) with some new aircraft and a few new maps. Good news for us all, because it now covers most of Europe. Most of our Me-110 missions have been in Russia lately, covering the forward positions and attacking incoming enemy bombers. But that is all about to change with our unit being sent over to the Balkans region for a short period of time. After that little spell of operations we expect then to be shipped to either Italy or even Libya (The Desert). What that means is we will need some new paint jobs done on our aircraft. Winter skins will look very out-of-place in warmer climates, especially in the desert. Peter has kindly stepped up to the challenge and has already started work on this task. Look out for some SS of his work very soon. For us it will give us a taste of what it is like to fight the R.A.F. and also the USAAF - who we know will outnumber us in the skies more and more in the coming months. So - new missions and new skins for us all to get to grips with pretty soon. Can't wait -Bobbie-

For those unsure of the colours for the Balkans here is a few pics of Stuka's operating in that region. Notice the yellow nose and yellow tail. The undercarrige is also yellow on the wing tips. We don't need the JU-87 Stuka doing - only the 110s. These are the 110 skins when in the desert. Hope this helps with the colour schemes. -Bobbie-
