HI Guys,

With the server running our custom maps on a regular basis and proving very playable I thought it about time we had a few more to play on.

First up for the mod treatment is Kharkov Winter. You'll know that BG42 have already done this excellent map and is also available updated in their recent mod release. However, good as it is, there's still room for improvement and a real feel of playability.

So far the map is in the beta play-testing stage and it's looking grand with all-new vehicles omitted from the BG42 version.

Keep and eye open for futher news regarding more new maps later on this month.

there's still plenty of things to sort out first before we add this to our D/L section. Vehicle placement being one...and lag the other issue.

If you would like to see any vehicle or plane included in the final version then do say. So long as you know it's a Russian city with the German Army fighting them. So you can't have say anything Japanese in there.

What I do need and can't get is 2 winter skins. One for the SturmTiger and the other is the Ferdinand (Elephant) both are really bugging me now that we can't get any. But I wont give up just yet.

I'll try and add some pics of the Tanks for you all.

Hmm, I remember trying to skin a tank for you before in the past ..
really hard to do because I cant seem to get all the detail below to stay on the tank! :/

Hi Pete it was the Sturmtiger you tried.

I wish I knew someone who could do this skinning thing for us - but at the moment we are stuck

I'll show you the problem we have with the Elephant,



As you can see it's half done - but looks silly. The gun is winter texture cos its a 88mm same as the Tiger and the tracks are also winter cos it uses the same chassis of the Tiger.
