Well i hate to break the news - BUT - the new MoH will be modern. From what I've read we'll be playing a console version of CoD4 on our PCs. Real shame I know.
One other thing: Now that BlackHat has been removed/retired from the spokesperson of EA ~ it makes me wonder IF EA will appoint someone who either loves/plays the game or better someone from the modding community. We can dream, but the reality is they will not
What we don't want to see again is upgradeable weapons and bad guys that are treated like end of level bosses.
Also - modern combat will kill MOH.
EA thinks it is a good idea because of a) the war in the East b) because CoD4 has made loads of money. c) the last two MoH games (both WW2 themed), flopped -big time
By the time the game is released most players will be sick of modern combat and CoD4 and won't buy it and we'll all need to buy new PCs if we do (as usual)
EA are useless - they should sell the MoH series.

Hmm, Call of duty are extremely clever.
They've gone modern, Broke records for selling there games and now there going back to WW2 which i think will be good.
Because after there release of call of duty 4, it was a massive increase on the latest Medal of Honor Airbourne.
- Ranking System - "Realistic" Weapon Unlocks - Good maps

Yes Pete - some great ideas in CoD4 that could be used for other games (and will be ) however, with MoH all they (EA) are trying to do is play catch-up with CoD and that tells me that they wont give the series their full attention.
In other words - they'll just copy something that's great and make a hash of it.
