Some great MODs for BF1942

Hi Guys,

Here is a short list of some terrific mods for BF1942.

Forgotten Hope
This is a great mod and brings with it new WW2 vehicles and a host of new maps. It's still very popular on servers. A must download.

Forgotten Honor
This is interesting as it is a MOD of a Mod. It continues where Forgotten Hope ends.

BattleGroup42
Another great mod that also brings to the game many new vehicles and some fantastic historical WW2 maps. This is one of a small few of the mods still being worked on - so check for the current release.

Battlefield Pirates
The developers have stopped working on this mod for BF1942 and are now currently working on a BF2 version. But do not overlook this because it is a real gem. Sadly no CO-OP mode is available though - which means a connection on a server to appreciate this fully.

Eve Of Destruction
This is really good because if you don't already own BF Vietnam then you can get this mod instead and get a taste of what weapons & vehicles they had in that conflict. And if you do own it - then still get it because this is totally amazing. Some people think that this is even better than BF:V itself. The developers are still working on new releases, so again, check to make sure it is the latest version you've downloaded.

Desert Combat
And finally...perhaps the most popular of all the BF mods - the mighty Desert Combat. This mod is so successful that the developers all went to work for EA and created BF2. Not only is this mod still very popular today - but it's also spawned loads of new add-ons and custom maps.

And that's it - a small, but brief example of some great BF1942 mods..there is many others that perhaps deserved a mention on this page. However, I have stuck to the most popular.
